How is the best way to Independence coming down 77?

Is there sufficient seating or do we need a lawn chair?

How good are the concessions? Need to eat before or at game??

    Thanks for any infromation

I always get lost going there unless I take I 485 to Lawyers Rd. There are certainly quicker ways, but I'll let Indy dad post it.

    Lawn Chairs---yes
    Concessions--- typical..eat before you come
    Batting Helmets--optional

I expect a good crowd (between the HUGE crowd that travels with ACHS and the interest in the game around the Charlotte area). The seating at Indy is very limited. Chairs are a must.

Concessions are typical HS fair ... some better, some worse .... Indy is a classy team. No trash talking, very clean play and they play very hard.

Take I-77 to Brookshire Freeway exit. Follow Brookshire until Independence Blvd. exits to the left. Take Independence Blvd a few miles until it intersects with Sharon Amity. (It will be the first light after the Olive Garden which is on your right) Turn left on Sharon Amity. Go about a mile and turn right on Albemarle Rd. Take Albemarle Rd a couple of miles - just after you cross Harris Blvd., Lawyer's Rd will be on your right. Take Lawyer's Rd a few miles (you'll be going past a lot of neighborhoods). You'll begin to see a few businesses in Mint Hill - at the next light (MCDonald's on your right - isn't there one on every corner near a ballpark?) take a left. You'll see a sign for Independence HS at this intersection. (There is a good Arby's there.) Independence is on your left about 1/4 - 1/2 mile. The ballfield is in the back of the school.

I'm hoping to come in for the game because the Alexander 3B is a client of mine. However, I'm wondering if I should take the bypass around the city, as I will be coming from Henderson County on U.S. 74...???

    Food & seating

As far as the food goes, there will be drinks such as pepsi, diet pepsi, mountain dew, water and gatorade. Candy bars as well as some candy and peanuts. They will also be selling chik-fil-a sandwiches. There were a couple games where nachos were served so you may see them also. As far as seating goes, it is limited. I would suggest you bring a lawn chair.

    Menu items

There is a change to the menu. Chik-fil-a may not be there tonight but there will be hot dogs and hamburgs as well as funnel cakes.
