    When do they usually announce the teams? I thought in years past it was already out but I was just wandering if anyone knew when they did or if they already have and I just missed the memo:huh:


    I'm interested in all the 4-A Conf.'s so any help is appreciated:laugh1:

    3A All Conference

    Smoky Mtn all conference was announced yesterday. I need to be educated as to how the all conference players are really picked. Was surprised at the one who received the honor. (She committed more errors than anyone on the team) Most of you WNC 3A parents know what kind of defense our team had. I don't want to sound like a typical pitcher's parent, but ****, she struck out 138 batters, and her defense committed 98 errors behind her. She pitched all but 3 innings all year. Can anyone shed light as to how much input a coach has on who is chosen?

    Enka girls- we're cheering you on. #9 can't wait to play with you guys this summer.

    I can't believe #9 didn't make it.:confused:
    She deserved it more than anyone else. She really had to work hard this year. Tell her we think she is the best and she will definitely have a great defense behind her this summer!

    I am not sure about the rest of the Western Highlands but Pisgah announced their All Conf. players Wednesday. They were:

    WHC POY – Brittany Underwood
    All Conf. – Haven Payne
    Emily Edwards
    Katelynn Wilson
    Kathryn Geouge

    I havent' heard but I would suspect that Heather Pritchard from SC and the second baseman from McDowell are on the list.
