Once again ESPN decides to leave softball for something else. Have they never joined a event already in progress?

Yea and they did it for an insignificant MLB game. Didn't show the second game ether. CAL won 4-1 :crybaby:

    Geat article on Woodard

Well said Braves. Robert and Daniel Bard both tied the record for wins by a freshman pitcher at Carolina, finishing with 8 wins apiece. Adam Lukas wrote a great article that really captures Robert well -- go to www.tarheelblue.com to find it. Robert is humble and not after attention, in fact he'd just as soon others get the attention, but he wants the ball and he gets the job done. He is as tenacious as a bulldog when he is on the mound and when something goes the other team's way, he just digs deeper and gets even more. But most of all he is a great person. Congrats to Robert and his family. Congrats to Daniel and his family, too. After his baseball career that I look forward to following, Robert will be a great, great high school coach. I hope I have grandsons and I hope they play for him one day.
