Central Cabarrus Fastpitch - 4A State Champions

    I want to congratulate the entire softball program at Central Cabarrus HS. To finish 32-1, ranked NO#1 in the NC Ihigh Poll the entire year and currently No# 7 in the country is quite an accomplishment.Central played with a heavy heart and much conviction during of the season with cancer hitting No#1 Sr. Erin Hough. Central withstood all charges from a very tough schedule and captured their 1st AAAA State Softball Title. The play on the field was enhanced by parent and community support in building Central ball park into something special. The parents, community, players and coaches should be extremely proud. Great Job to North in 1A, Forbush in 2A and 3A Southern Alamance. Central's program should be continue to rise with the underclassmen talent. Great Job. :applause: :xyzthumbs :xyzthumbs

    You are right, one great year and one great team that will be around for at least two more years.

    CONGRATS TO CC FOR WINNING THE STATE!! NO OTHER TEAM DESERVED IT MORE THEN THEM...THEY NOT ONLY WANTED IT FOR THEMSELVES BUT FOR ERIN HOUGH (one of their teammates fighting cancer)....HATS OFF TO THEM...
    CC IS BY FAR THE BEST TEAM OUT THERE WITH THE BEST PROGRAM....THEY STRIVE FOR PERFECTION DAY IN AND DAY OUT... :applause:
