What do you say/should you say postgame?

    After a hard fought game, what do most players/coaches say going through the line after the game?

    I know the usual "Good Game, Good Game, Good Game" while you are trying not to make eye contact or hold onto a opposing player's hand too long is the norm. But is that coping out? And should you say "Good Game" to someone that you just beat by the 10 run rule?

    What about "Good Luck"? Problem with that one is if you just got shelled, what you really want to say is "lose by 20 next time", not "good luck".

    I know this might be the cheesiest thread ever, but think about it. You want to have sportsmanship, but at the same time you are either thinking "HAHA just beat you and you and you" or "I can't believe I just lost to you and you and you."

    unless your looking to fight , it's better to say Good Game or just keep your mouth shut.
    When i have lost by 1 run or 10 runs or won by that amount... ive always told my players to say good game ( :teeth: ) even though its tough after a loss.

    Nobody likes losing but it takes a winner to accept a loss and move on to the next challenge .

    What about....

    "good 'job'..." and GREAT game to a player on the opposing team that starreed or HAMMERED you????? :applause:
