    sc finishing 4th?

    im not saying its impossible... but im just wondering what do u think makes south come from finishing last in the conference in the past few years to all of a sudden finishing 4th? im not saying that its impossible ya know so dont get ur feathers all ruffled up and come back yelling and telling me that im gonna eat crow like u said we do every yr.... but whatever:nono:

    its pretty bad when you cant even talk reasonably online about football, I cant even begin to understand how you could even begin to pick SC in front of Ac this year it looks like smashmouth is the only realist. keep dreamin.

    McDowell will shake things up a little under Haney and the Single Wing will sneak up on some people. A surprise third place finish may be headed our way. New O-line coach T. Davis may whip the boys in shape and I feel Gowan will do an excellent job heading up the new 4-4 defense and will help turn some things around at McDowell.

    I wished things were easy to predict, but unfortunatley they wont be. Reynolds will still be tough to beat even though they've not tasted defeat in the Nw4A. Until then, they are still the team to beat in the conference. However, Tim McMahon and Freedom will be the team that knocks them off in early October. As for Alexander Central, East Burke, and McDowell...that too will be a tough call to make because they all have good returning players and JV players entering into the Varsity. Will Dave Haynie make the difference? Only time will tell. But here's my pics..

    Because of the inability to choose, I picked ACR and Freedom to tie for first and East Burke and McDowell to tie for third. Because of Alexander's lack of success, they take 5th but slightly. Its gonna be an interesting year to say the least.
