Second Round Legion Playoff Games

With the first round games coming to a close please post second round here

 

...with much assistance from various posters, the thread entitled "Area III" is remaining updated and accurate with all final scores, team records and playoff schedules for all Area III teams (both Northern & Southern divisions). The Area III thread was designed so that our posters could simply go to one central location and follow all of our teams throughout the state playoffs.

 

Pineville

Why do we never see anything on the Pineville team on this site anymore? Can someone please post their playoff schedule so I can plan to see a game?

 

Vartainian has pleaded for the Pineville folks not to post here. Sad really, that a bitter parent selfishly is trying to prevent a player and team to be noticed. The players are the one's that don't benefit. Vartainian as usual, could care less about the team, only what's good for him. But it is typical of his antics and par for the course.

I hope their supporters rise above his immaturity and continue to post...but it is up to them.

 

Pineville American Legion....

Dodgerblues,,,, Sorry but I can't help you much with Pineville's legion schedule because I'm only familiar with teams in my own Area 3 (Pineville is in Area 4).

I "can" tell you this much, that in my opinion Pineville and Caldwell County are probably the 2 best teams in your area. Unfortunately only one of those top teams will advance to the state tournament this year, because the state tournament is in Shelby and therefore Shelby automatically qualifies as the 2nd team from Area 4 as the host team.

As I said, it will come down to Pineville/Caldwell for the best in the west. Bet on it. And good luck.

Pineville Post 337

Pineville Post 337 swept all 3 games from Rutherford, ending that series at South Meck last Wednesday night. They are awaiting the winner of the Newell/Asheville series, which will be decided in Game 5 tonight. Pineville will resume play again on Sunday night at 7 PM at South Meck. It will be a best of 5 series with the games alternating locations until the series is completed. Everyone please come out and support your local posts - these young men are GREAT young men and VERY talented.
