Andy, can you bring us up to date on what's happening with Impact and what you have been up to?

I understand Andy being busy but I think it is quite a slight to his paying subscribers to his website that he doesn't update it more often than he does. Someone needs to become more creative to give the subscribers something to read or he may start losing some members. He does a great job when he does reports on his website, but lately there hasn't been much on there.

    Braves -

Sorry for the delay... As 'Colt 45' stated, things have been rather busy here at Impact Headquarters.

Working on the upcoming IMPACT GAMES Showcase at UNC, attending several events like the Commonwealth Games in Salem and other tournaments, working on our fall teams and compiling the 2005 Impact Baseball Follow Lists (which should be out the first week in August).

Always a neat time of the year - finding out where all of these guys you follow around for years are going to college.

    Yes...it was HOT!!!!

Seriously, I'll wait for Impact to post their observations. But if you have one player, in particular, in mind..please post it here and I or someone will address it.

There was a lot of talented young men up there!!

How did the North Forsyth duo of Johnson and Mitchell do?

That team must have looked good in the outfield with Boyd
who is verbally committed to Clemson paired with those two.

The game we had with Western NC was rained out and never replayed. I did watch a couple of innings in two of their other games and saw both Addison and DJ play. They both looked good as usual and I got to see DJ pitch for the first time. Wil Boyd rolled his ankle rounding first base in their first game and did not play anymore...he appears to be fine though!

Yes, it would be a pitcher's paradise having those three in the OF.

Obviously, there were many star performers but one player really caught my attention....Matt Cox with the Eastern team. The young man has a potent bat and showed well as a pitcher also.
