American Legion State Championships

    can i get some kind of clarification of 2 of the teams that are in it?

    I know that Kannapolis, Greensboro, Caldwell, Shelby, Wayne, and Garner are in...

    but our paper says kannapolis is will be playing either Scotland County, or Pleasure Island, BUT, the Shelby post 82 state championship site says that Laurinburg (Wilmington) Post 50 is in along with Pleasure Island from area 2...

    So who is it? Scotland or Laurinburg?

    Garner plays Shelby on Wednesday night at 8:00
    Wayne County plays Caldwell County on Wednesday night at 5:00

    i thought laurinburg and scotland county were the same team.

    but whoever the runner up in area II is who Kannapolis plays.
    Pleasure Island or Laurinburg

    Scotland Co Post 50 is Laurinburg.
    Article in today's Wilmington Star, states Pleasure Island beat Post 50 to win their second Area 11 regional title in the last 3 years.
    Paper states they will face the loser of Kannapolis/Greensboro at 10am Aug 3.
