    Maybe so, but the Patriots fielded around 120 players at first practice and have over 50 returning lettermen. They're hungry and primed for the upset of A.C. Reynolds.

    And of those 120, only 11 can be on the field at one time, same as every other team. I used to get caught up in the numbers game but, total numbers, IN MY OPINION ONLY and from my own personal coaching perspective, don't mean crap. I would take 30 quality players any day of the week over 120. Yeah, depth would be a problem, but quite honestly, it would be a problem with 120 as well. You know that Freedom has those 20-25 studs that are going to do most of the playing (like all schools with big numbers), then it will drop off from there. They have to condition those 120 like dogs to get the best 25 in shape because 2/3 of those guys will never see the field.

    Warden, don't blast me, I was just making a general observation based on your data. I know that Freedom is talented and has a bunch of returners, I guess that I was just playing devil's advocate.
