I watched the DirtBags vs Titans game and came away thinking....wow...Dirtbags are ready for Jupiter. Although the whole Dirtbag team was swinging the bats well, there were three players that stood out this game:

Jeremy Synan- even opponents can't help but admire the way this young man plays the game. He sets the example for his team always hustling on and off the field. At bat, he never misses a pitcher's mistake. He makes them pay. Jeremy, with his size and tools is definitely a MLB prospect.

Addison Johnson- "The Toy Cannon"...the ball explodes off his bat (even with a wood bat) as he rocked one ball to the fence and the next at bat went yard at the NC State field....and to think he is just a junior.

Eddie Teague- The 1st baseman from Lugoff, SC again proved to be one of the top hitters from the sandlapper state. He has a beautiful swing and is rarely fooled by a pitch. Eddie also went yard in this game. Although he resides in the USC backyard, it appears that Clemson has the best chance at signing Eddie.

and for the people in Charlotte, Marc Nicholson continues to show everybody why he is a hitting machine and a superb RF with a strong arm.

    Who are the Titans?
Are they a NC or SC team?
Can you tell us anything about the players/coaches that make up the team?

BB9er-I wish there was a program that had a roster. The Titans I believe are from the Greensboro or Raleigh area. Someone mentioned to me that they had played them in a AUU tournament in Florence SC. They had some very good players but unfortunately,I didn't know their names.

Perhaps Impact can shed some light, but their coach seems well known

    Thanks Braves
Found out a little about them.
They have a website over on eteamz.
After traveling around NC for the last 4 years with baseball, I like to see where players(now would be the group 16-18) that I am familiar with turn up. It seems to be a team made up of 16's from points west like Oxford to points east like New Bern and in between. As it turns out I do know several of the players on the roster.

    Carolina Titans/Impact Challenge

]Hello TBR and Hello to BB9er and Braves.
Thought I would share somethings and info about the Carolina Titans. First let me introduce myself.
My name is Bruce Moore, assistant coach of the Titans/ father of Jerrod Moore/pitcher,infielder student at PersonHighschool in Roxboro. (Yes he plays for Coach Evans who post on here often). I live here in Person County/Roxboro area. Better known as God's country!! :xyzthumbs
The Carolina Titans are made up of players from all over the state. Durham, Roxboro, Oxford/Henderson, Raleigh, Siler City and Newbern North Carolina. We are based out of Oxford and the team was put together by Lennie Blackley from Oxford.
The Head Coach is Sam White from Henderson NC. Ask anyone about Sam in the baseball community and we are blessed to have someone like him to coach our young men!! :applause:
Now comments on the Impact Challenge. Braves we had a pretty good game going with the Dirtbags early in the game. My son Jerrod went the first three innings and held them scoreless and then we made a change. WEll the rest was history as thet say. I guess we made them mad! :nono: Just kidding..they are some great hitters on both of those Impact teams from top to bottom. It is hard for a team such as ours to play 27 innings against top hitting teams and fully loaded pitching staffs such as there's but we held our own. On Sunday Morning we beat a good Carolina Copperheads team so we were competitive. The expereince of playing these teams is that we use it as a measuring stick for our team and where we are in our developement. Like Impact we are here for our young men to help them pursue that "DREAM" and hopefully play baseball at the next level. As Coach Evans has already said it's not for the money!! We enjoyed the weekend and man was it beautiful!!
Braves next time you see us please introduce yourself to me!!!! I was the first base coach. I enjoy reading your comments and I learn something here almost everyday!!! Just help me keep Coach Evans straight!!!! He is a good friend of mine!
    Our team website is: www.eteamz.active.com/carolinatitans15u/index
Thanks for all comments and I look forward to talking and learning the process of trying to get my own son to college!!! :xyzthumbs

The Gamers also had a pretty good weekend. They tied their first game on Saturday with the PA Phillies. Then had 2 convincing wins on Sunday over the A's from Atlanta and the Carolina Titans, hitting the ball very well in both games.

    Megastars at Impact

Charlotte Megastars (05's) had another very strong Impact Tourney. They went 3-0 this weekend and 4-0 at Elon. Strong performances all around. Pitching, hitting, and very solid defense by this group of seniors. A. Bray and Castevens went yard for the Stars. McNeely has this bunch playing some very good ball. Need to see those dirtbags in Greensboro. Would be a good one. :laugh1:

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon at N.C. State. The team got tour of the clubhouse facilities that are first class. Thanks for a fun weekend.

Thanks guys for posting all of your information. I was hoping others were there and would do so. I wish we all could have met...maybe we should have on some TBR shirts to help identify each other :D

PRD--- let me say that Jerrod was outstanding. He sure did shut down the Dirtbags in his three innings. Coach Evans is mighty lucky to have Jerrod on his team. And about Coach White...although I haven't the pleasure of meeting him, I was told good things about him at our game. The Titans proved they can compete with anybody.

Hey, can you guys with the Gamers and Megastars tell us who played well this weekend?

The Megastars have been awesome all summer and fall

The first part Bruce I'll be looking forward to..the 2nd part about Coach Evans...I think it would take more than you and me :D

Seriously, your son is mighty fortunate to play with such a high character coach in Steve Evans ( Hey Coach, I'm still waiting on that other check:)).

and I wish your family and Jerrod well in his continued success.
