    It's not a rivalry if one team can't beat the other. That means Independence has no rival and Scotland is not Richmond's rival. Scotland can't beat Richmond (I can't even remember the last time Richmond lost to Scotland anyway - it hasn't been recently). Richmond has no conference rival because none of them has beaten Richmond in recent memory.

    I disagree - Grimsley/Page fills(10-15,000 standing room only) Jamison stadium in Greensboro every year although Grimsley has only beaten Page about 3 times in thirty years often getting blown out when they lost. To me that makes the sign it's a true rivalry when the fans of the losing team show up year after year even though it's just to witness a butt kickin'

    edit to add that Grimsley pulled off a comeback win kicking a field goal at the end to beat Page 23-22. There was even the good ol controversy of many saying that Grimsley got five downs at the end. The fact that Page is horrible this year and is 0-7 for their worse season just made the win even sweeter for Grimsley fans.
