The high school will be playing at the Ripkin experience. I am the scorekeeper for the team so I will be going along. The girls are staying at the Myrtlewoods Villas, I am at the Super 8 on Ocean Blvd. I will not be at the hotel very much so I decided to go cheap.

I am dreading the long drive. The girls have a snow make-up day of school on the 8th so they are leaving right after school.

The Shockwave is a good group. We have played them a couple of times. We played the Indiana Gators Gold in the last indoor tournament in Indianapolis. They are verrrry good. Great defense and good pitching. They are all older 16s and our girls couldn't lay off of the riseball. The pitcher had good movement, but her riseball was super. DD said that best riseball that she has seen.

I'm about 3-1/2 hours from Myrtle Beach, you about 10-11 hours ??? Be carefull are you all playing at the Air Force Base or Pepper-Gedding ?? If you get a chance go by and see the Cal Ripken Facility ( softball heaven )---LOL... Good Luck...When we were in Columbus in 2004 @ the NSA World Series we made friends with the Indiana Shockwaves Organization. We all stayed at the Marriot Courtyard and they were feeding us, nice group of youngters and parents !!
