I had to spread the love towards Sanderson's way when I saw the boxscore in the N & O. I did not know they played Cary yesterday as there was no notice in the paper.

I hope the Spartans can compete this year as what I am told there are a bunch of juniors & seniors.

Jere, Looking to gauge your interst in coaching a rising junior team from the old Lake Monsters, which are now the Ravens. The 16u team disbanded this year after Austin Grissom got a new job. Several players went their different ways but have stayed in touch with each other. Greg Ayscue continued to coach a 17u team and now wants to add other age groups. He is looking at having a tryout on August 22 but has been unable to find a coach. I know from this blog that you are well thought of and were going to coach a team form the Lake Monsters before Ray left. Give it a tought and let us know what you think, or if you know someone that could do it. thanks
