Different people are motivated different ways, so 'm not exactly sure what to say there. I don't recommend diet supplements. I just think shit like that is a temporary fix. People who keep weight off adopt good habits and keep them.

In terms of exercise, it's better to do some weight training and cardio, instead of just cardio. Adding muscle burns fat. And Ive found that if someone just gets started, it's like a spark starting a wildfire. It suddenly becomes part of who they are.


Encouraging someone does alot for them too. It's tough when you join a gym and see people who are in great shape - it can be demoralizing. Just tell this person you believe in them and encourage them to keep going. That sounds corny as **** but there's value in positive thinking.
