08 Demarini Phenix

    Does anyone know anything about the 08 Demarini Phenix? My DD test drove a 08 RT this past weekend, has had her 08 Stealth replaced 4 time already this year and is using a Combat Demo. We are interested in buying a new tool but not sure what is best. They are a large investment and we wanted to know what the experts thought and why? Any information would be a help. Thank in advance!:smile:

    Sam, I don't know anything about bats. My advice would be to let her test all the bats that have higher ratings, and decide which one she wants to use. It make no difference what others say about a paticular bat, if your DD dosen't like it, you are wasting your money buying it! Your DD may want a bat that no one else ever uses. If she is happy with it, buy it!

    To know a bat, you have to have used the bat...

    .......ol CD is in the best position to make recommendations or opinions when it comes to the Fpitch game, pitching, hitting, and the products that might be what your kid needs. Maybe its a rockettech, or demarini, or glovesmith,...whatever, if its available, someone has used it, and I'll bet CD has worried the crap out of them to get as much info about a bat or glove or shoes as possible. Thats the kind of expert opinion that I'm looking for in helping max out my DDs chances to succeed when part of that success depends on equipment.

    Would love to test one!

    Anyone know how to get a demo in the demarini? We have tried all the bats listed in the original post and love the pop off of the RT and Stealth. Durability wise, we have had both. We have 2 04 RTs that look like she used them as a hammer they have so many dents and dings. The stealths are great bats but have busted the core on them and the time it takes to get a return number and send it back and get the replacment in the mail makes it undesireable for us. Using a demo Combat now. Just not sold on it yet. Saw a new Demarini at NCSU. May be what they are swinging this year. Looked like a more durable bat. Thanks for the help.
