    1. Chris Munnley RHP posted 87mph on the mound. But in the comments stated a lot about his off speed stuff. Seemed to have all the pitching tools working.

    2. William Henderson OF posted vel of 88 mph and a 60 time of 6.85

Alot of 09's with some great tools out there. This year I think we will see some surprises out of the 09's in every conf.

He went around 3 innings and was outstanding. I stood behind home plate with the PG guys and the stalker. He was 87-89 with an outstanding change up and curve ball. He was tremendous. No runs , no hits alot of K's. Several college coaches were trying to get his name and information from the PG guys working the game. Great kid , outstanding ability , tremendous upside.

Schaffer is the real deal! Very talented all the way around. Pitches as well, but will go forward with his bat. Once this kid is done growing and adds more muscle to his frame, he will be a D1 player (if he decides to go to college), because the major league scouts will be all over this kid.

    Richie Schaffer

I had seen him a few times but only for a couple of innings here and there over the summer. I did get the chance to watch him at the Impact Futures Game. I saw him take BP Infield and play in the game.

At 6'3 probaly around 170 or so he has a great athletic body. With a ton of room to grow. He has a tremendous amount of phyical upside. I was very impressed with him. He has tremendous power. He runs well. He has soft hands and a very good arm. He didnt see very much to hit but you can tell he is a hitter. He plays hard and he has field presence. Schaffer is a definite Major College D-1 guy. IMO I see him as a corner guy in college infield or outfield corner.

Another guy with alot of the same phyical make up as Schaffer at this game that caught my eye was Blaze Tart. He is going to be a big kid like Schaffer as well. He will be a corner guy as well. He is not as advanced with the his skill set as Schaffer right now but he is going to be a good one.

Schaffer like Wil Meyers has that true "pop" in his bat. The ball explodes off his bat with an effortless swing. Both have a pure swing that is fluid alot like Maynards. Its just a natural thing that I do not believe you can teach. As far as the draft who knows. There is a long way to go and we will see. But as far as talent and the ability to use it he has it. And he has the physical make up as well. I look forward to seeing this young man in the future. He is a stud.
