Harris has 11 but 3 fouls for the Pioneers. Greene also sat a lot of the first half after picking up 2 pretty quickly.

Pioneers ended the half with a nice run, 6-0 I think, to wrest the lead away heading into intermission.

A little closer than the final score indicates, as Watauga's hack and hit a 3 strategy didn't work too well with the Titans draining all of their free throws in the last minutes. Great job by McDowell on defense.

 

Glad to see that score. McDowell is really playing well now after a shaky start. Hope I didn't jinx them.....

AC Reynolds played without leading scorer DJ Clement (21.3 ppg) I was told, not sure the reason. He was there on the bench in shirt and tie, but not dressed out.

#7 Ragsdale(17-3) 55

Ragsdale loses a heartbreaker. Shot horribly and missed way too many free throws. Had a chance to tie late and missed the freebies.

Offensive rebounds and tough D kept them in the game. Trinity is good but somebody will get them in the playoffs.

Good to see this young man get his jersey retired at halftime. Best high school football player I've ever seen hands down

Coach Sanders for Watauga had one of the McDowell fans ejected from the game because they told him to sit down. He just stops the game and tells the police to remove this fan. This fan did not curse or anything he just said "sit down coach". You here this at every game you go to and for this fan to be thrown out of the gym because of this is absurd. Coach Sanders can go out on the court and get in his players face but then he cannot take someone telling him to sit down.

It was a great game. Close all the way. Petey dominated this game. I'm looking forward to a rematch in the tourney at Marion.

 

Thats two ejections in one week (one coach and one fan) at Watauga. There was no reason that the fan should have been ejected, he paid his five dollars just like everybody else in the gym and didn't say anything he shouldn't have. The first time I have seen a coach eject a fan in a game before.
