    Saying ACR is in Fairview is like saying Mcdowell is in PG. It is not in Fairview.
    BTW the clock ran from about midway in the third I thought.

    3-0 @ halftime but SC came out and scored 21 in the second half. Took advantage of some Freedom mistakes

    Also heard that Hibriten beat Newton Conover 26-21 but can't be sure just hearsay

    Statesville 28 - OT

    Mooresville led 14-0 after one quarter of play but Statesville tied it up in the second quarter. Statesville then grabbed a 21-14 lead in the third but the Blue Devils knotted the score at 21-21 on their next series. Statesville took the lead again in the fourth quarter only to see Mooresville tie the game at 28-28. Mooresville missed a 40 yard field goal in the closing seconds and the game headed to OT. Mooresville scored first and then stopped Statesville on four tries......a massive celebration ensued. I'm exhausted. Mooresville's Jjshaun Pinkston scored 4 touchdowns tonight. Man that kid is really fun to watch. :cheers2:

    BigD,please tell me McDowell was called for holding at least one time during this game. I can't stand another week of the crying in Fairview.:cry:

    hey v.i. i remember back in the 1st week of the season someone was wanting to fire the coach at mooresville, i haven`t heard that talk since then. seems like folks were jumping the gun again this yr! congrats to the blue devils!

    Keep your ears open for little known Brian Taylor(soph.). This kid will play college ball in at least one sport. Freshman starter in football, basketball, and baseball.

    Mcdowell did get called for offensive holding in the third quarter. It wasthe second offensive holding penalty in ACR's last 10 conference games.

    I believe ACR is not in Fairview, rather the Reynolds Community.
