    Heat Showcase Baseball will be conducting tryouts for the new 10u team upcoming Season on Saturday, August 7th at 2:00pm. Tryouts will be held in Wilkesboro, NC at the Wilkesboro Complex - 1600 Industrial Drive.

    not presuming to speak for Jason.. but the organizations name is Heat Showcase not the teams name... my guess is Jason has some parents who have approached him about fielding a 10U travel team and he is looking to round out a roster. OTW there would be 11U & 12U as well which there apparently is not.

    I can tell you this....

    If Jason is involved it will be good for the kids....never too early to learn how to play the game the right way!!!

    and I will add my 2 cents... I have been around travel ball for 8+years. Jason is approachable and reasonable and has the kids best interest at heart. He runs a quality organization.

    Wasn't trying to say anything about Heat Baseball or anyone involved with it. I admire anyone who is trying to provide opportunities for kids. My remark was more of a comment about what does a 10U tryout have to do with showcase baseball? 10u is just plain old travel ball to me, no matter who is running it because at 10u your just showcasing for Mom & Dad and for the same in the other dugout and their Moms & Dads.
