An impressive opening win on the road. Everybody on here has talked about Freedom, East Burke and Alexander Central...not a word being mentioned about the Titans.

Kincaid is a good player. Is Mcdowell supposed to be good this year ? It's going to be an interesting year.

McDowell lost 8 players from last year's squad. That group over a three-year span led the Titans to one of their best multi-year run in school history. There are only two players on this years team that got any considerable amount of minutes last year, that would be Eli Miller and Chavis Hamilton.

This year's squad is made up of those two along with a solid nucleus including Hibriten transfer Clayton Williams and a handful of kids from last year's jayvee squad. If McDowell plays like they did last night against Burns, they'll have a whole lot to do with who wins the NW4A. The Titans biggest fall will come against teams that have bulk inside (i.e. East Burke). Hamilton is McDowell's tallest player, he's about 6'4".
