12U CAROLINA STARS TRYOUTS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED!!!

    12U CAROLINA STARS TRYOUTS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED!!!!!
    The Carolina Stars, an established 8 year-old fastpitch organization based in Clemmons, NC will soon be holding tryouts for their 2006 12U team. The Stars have access to an indoor training facility (for winter workouts) as well as a private practice field.

    TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AT THE WEST FORSYTH HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL FIELD SATURDAY SEPT. 3RD FROM 1 PM TO 3 PM & SUNDAY SEPT. 4TH FROM 3 PM TO 5PM. YOU ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONE TRYOUT.

    DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF INTEREST ALREADY SHOWN, PLEASE ARRIVE FOR REGISTRATION AT 12:30 ON SATURDAY AND 2:30 ON SUNDAY. PLEASE ALSO RSVP TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS BELOW BEFORE SEPT. 1ST.

    ANY PROSPECTIVE PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ARE ASKED TO STAY AFTERWARDS FOR ADDITIONAL SCREENINGS.

    ANY YOUNG LADY WHO TURNS 13 AFTER 1/1/06, IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY 12U IN 2006.

    IF THESE DATES AND TIMES ARE NOT SUITABLE, PLEASE CALL TO SCHEDULE AN INDIVIDUAL TRYOUT.
    The Carolina Stars organization is different. The Stars are looking for hardworking, energetic, young ladies who want to take their game to the next level. We look at quality of the person and parents before we look at talent (and there are plenty talented players out there who are great kids and who have great parents). We have team rules and expectations (for players and parents) which we feel have been an important reason for our past success and we look forward to more success in the future. In turn, we provide committed and experienced coaching and an enjoyable experience for our players and parents.

    Bmac- I'll email you my neices's info. She and 3 others from our area will be attending the Saturday tryout.

    From what I've heard around here, there's a lot of excitement and interest in your organization. Are you going to have more than one 12U team? What about a 10U? :woohoo: :woohoo:

    Got your info. Thanks.
    As for another 12U and a new10U, I have had a good bit of interest in forming a 10U team. If we can get about 5-6 players who are interested and someone to coach, then we probably put together a 10U.

    As for another 12U, so far inetrest and girls signing up for the 12U tryouts has been very good, so if the numbers are there, then we may have another 12U team.
