    The NC Lady Lightning has traveled to South Dakota to play in the 16U ASA Nationals. We are the only team representing NC here and are planning to do it up right. We have only played 1 practice game currently, but started off on the right foot by winning that.     The NC Lady Lightning won their first pool play game 6 -5 against the Wichita, KS Mustangs. Great pitching by Nikki Edwards and great play by all girls to pick up spots during the game due to injury, sickness, etc.

    The NC Lady Lightning won their first pool game today against the Wichita Mustangs by a score of 6 to 5 . Tomorrow we play the other winner in our pool. The girls are having fun and playing great ball...Go Lady Lightning!!!!Let's bring home a title to NC!!!!! YOU KNOW!!!!!!

    This is the team Coached by John Corn out of the Lexington area, although we have girls from all over.

    The girls are playing great and representing NC well.

    IDK, we will pull for bracket play tonight at 8PM tonight. We ended up being the #1 seed in our pool, so will end up playing a 4 seed for our first game tomorrow. Will keep everyone posted.
