16U NSA State Champs

    Congratulations to The Carolina Blues on becoming the 16u NSA State Games champs! This team compiled a record of 5-1 over the weekend and proved what hard work at practice and team chemistry can do!

    Way to go girls...looking forward to seeing you play in the World Series!

    Way to go ladies. I have one question how is there 2 16u NSA State Champs when they was held on to different weekends? I am confused duh.

    Carolina Comets won the NSA State ( A ) Championship last weekend in Rockhill.

    I hate to put my foot out where it probably isn't wanted and may get a door slammed on it.

    The NSA NC State Tournament for 14U, 16U and 18U was held in Rock Hill on 6/19-21. At the same time, the "Carolina's State Games" for 8, 10 and 12 were held in Charlotte.

    The NSA Tournament held in Charlotte on 6/26-28 was the "Carolina's State Games" for 14U, 16U and 18U. The NSA NC State Tournament for 8U, 10U and 12U was held in Rock Hill, SC on this same weekend.

    Not to cast any aspersions on the accomplishments of the winners of the latter tournament, but the NSA lists only the former as the State Tournament for North Carolina for 16U. Whether or not the winners of the "Carolina's State Games" get an automatic bid to the World Series, I have no idea.

    Door firmly slammed....

    Well excuse me for making a mistake!! It still doesn't take away from the accomplishment that these girls acheived this past weekend. They weren't in it to get an automatic bid to the world series...already going. They were in it to win it and they did!!!
    This started out as an innocent post to recognize a team for its accomplishments...nothing else! And now its turned into something else completely...you people ought to be ashamed! ( fastpitchplyer & Hit-N-Run excepted)

    Congrats

    Whether its NSA, ASA, IFA or whatever those girls done well. State Games or State Tournament, it still says Champs. Good job girls!
