The sales for the event are ahead of last year's pace so, we are once again expecting to hang the Sold Out sign at the door. The night of January 24th at Carolinas Baseball Center will be very special

Great lineup of baseball people appearing; Bryan Harvey, Ty Wigginton, Ross Gload, Gookie Dawkins, Wake Forest Head Coach Rick Rembelak, David Mailman and a few other baseball stars.

We have an incredible group of finalists for the 7 awards.

Auction will be larger than last year, rafffle will be huge as well! One person bought $100 of raffle tickets last year and left with about $1200 worth of items.

First class dinner, great baseball and softball talk, raise a little money for charity, tell a few tall tails, etc

I am going to make a very special announcement on something that will be very good for Charlotte baseball and softball.

This is a super evening and this year will be even better.

I hope you will go ahead and buy your tickets and support this event that is so dear to my heart. I can't tell you how special it is to recognize these kids with the awards.

Also, if you have an item you would like to donate for the auction, email me at [email protected]

This is one night where we can all drop our competitive fire and celebrate the past, present and future of Charlotte baseball.

Please come join me by purchasing your tickets today at

I started TBR Preps almost 8 years ago and have seen many clinics, camps and dinners posted on here. The majority of them are excellent, but for those that live in the Charlotte area, this is the best dinner/award night ever conducted in our area for HS sports. I have no affilation with this program and I have never met the organizer, Tripp Roakes. But I asked many of my friends that attended last year's event their opinion on the night. Every single one of them gave it "5 Stars"...except dbacks (He gave it "5 forks")...and I believe Prepster is the one that made out like a bandit on the raffle tickets. But that's not surprising; I always try to stand near Prepster when I see him. I always hope his good fortune will rub off on me.

This post is not a promotional one. They will sell out this event again. It's a reminder to those that wish to attend to hurry up and get your tickets. I missed out last year because I waited too long

Braves, you know those raffle stories are like their fish story counterparts: by the time word gets around to you, the perch has become a world record bass!

Nevertheless, I'm encouraged by your remarks that you plan on gracing us with your presence on January 24th. If true, you're welcome to sit near me during the raffle drawing...especially if you've sprung for both of our sets of tickets! :jump:
