    On Deck O's 11-0

    Ashton Lover(Ardrey Kell) Threw 1 hit ball over 4 innings striking out 5, Byron Haag (Marvin Ridge) and Ben Boykin (nations Ford) homered to lead the O's. Jack Reinheimer made several very good plays at Short.

    The O's have home runs from 4 different players through the first 2 games.

    Yesterday's 7 pm game

    SS Joshua Tobias (2011, SE Guilford HS, NC) hit a walk-off double to lead the Canes Green to a 5-4 victory over the East Cobb Dynasty. Tobias had a huge game for the Canes going 3-4 with 2 2Bs and 3 RBIs.

    Canes keep on winning

    The Orange team wins 6-2 over Trombly baseball of California.

    The Green team wins 3-2 over Lehigh Valley baseball of Pennsylvania.


    The Charlotte Megastars tied 4-4 against the ABD Warriors of California.
    The Charlotte Heat tied 4-4 against the ABD Orange County of California.

    South Charlotte Panthers, On Deck O's and NCBA Golden Spikes all win today during the 4:30 games.

    Not really. Only teams that count are the East Cobb Astros 3-0 and East Cobb Braves 2-1. Those are their 2 marquee teams in this age group from EC. All the players on the other EC teams have a goal of playing for those 2 teams.

    Wood Bats?

    Is the pitching ahead of hitting this time of year or are swinging with the wood the equalizer? Just seems like the pitching this year is very strong.

    Good to see all the NC teams doing well...has the talent level in NC improved that much or are we just seeing more kids having the opportunity to shine?
