18U Showcase Invitational

    Hello All Softball Fanatics,
    The 16U Lady O's will be hosting an Invitational College Showcase day at Wingate University on August 5th 2006.
    I would like to know who all would be interested in attending. We are only going to invite elite individuals, not teams, to this showcase.
    We will have a large number of coaches from all over the U.S. but mainly from the South Eastern Region. So far I have ten coaches that have committed but I have only been on the hunt for two days.
    We will have instruction and work stations for the players from 9-11:30am while parents are taken through "mini-seminars" about NCAA Clearinghouse rules, recruiting info, etc. After lunch we will assign the players to a team and have them play a round robin for the remainder of the day.
    If you have an elite player in mind please let me know. We will allow 36 girls from the Charlotte area to attend.
    I will give out the exact number and names of Colleges and Universities that will be represented at a later date.

    Are you limiting the invites to only Charlotte area kids only or do you want the best NC has to offer?

    WHAT AGES ARE YOU GOING TO ACCEPT? ONLY 18 YR OLDS, OR BY GRADUATING CLASS ONLY 2006,2007?

    We will invite 16 years of age and above. Also, I would like girls from all over North and South Carolina to attend.
