That's from last year, but they still started out this year nationally ranked before losing 3 close ones.

They are still the #2 4A team in the state of South Carolina according to the lastest SC Coaches Poll.

A small crowd made the first road trip .... BUT .... cheap son's of guns that we are, no one owns a camera .... darn it!!!!

Prepster must have thought it was a boxing match .... he retreated to the corner and waited for the bell to ring.

UpandIn educated us, DodgerBlue and Braves amused us and I just annoyed everyone. Guess I need to check with Lanston again. The football questions just didn't work. Couldn't spot Chris Leak on either team. rc watch the ball game. Maybe he can give us a report.

There was a good local turnout, but the ball game had a "non-conference" feel to it. Not a tremendous amount of pressure (except to the players).

After coming from behind twice in the game, Charlotte Christian took a 4 run lead into the bottom of the sixth inning. Fort Mill struck back, scoring 5 in the bottom of the frame and stiff-armed (Again the football reference) Christian to hold on to the win.

    Final score: 9-8
