    Wild card Alexander Central travels to Lake Norman and defeats the #1 seeded Wildcats. AC pitcher gave up two in the first, but settled down and cruised from there. AC bats were driving the ball to undefended spots and got some clutch RBI hits to extend what had been a 3-2 lead through 4 innings. Game was well played by both teams and you could sense the upset after the 5th frame.

    Alexander Central as a Wildcard upsets the #1 seed from the IMECK Lake Norman 7 - 2....unsure on who pitched or other details

    Watauga defeated Olympic 11 to 1 in 5 Innings....Jake Watts gets the win

    Glenn vs Mt Tabor

    Glenn beat Mt Tabor1 to 0. Jason Smith hit a Home Run in the 1st inn. Jamie Nunn pitched for Mt Tabor and give up 3 hits. Noah Pearl pitched for Glenn and threw a 2 hitter.Tabor had a couple guys on 2nd but could not get the key hit they needed. Well played game on both sides,

    Another of my predicted upsets! N Lenoir will now travel to the other upset pick Nash Central who beat Jacksonville tonite!

    Middle Creek had an 11 game winning streak heading into playoffs after starting 3-10 on the year. Hats off to a very good and well coached Jordan team. Rayburn is the real deal.
