I have to agree with ya there Titan90. It's been awhile since we here at Reynolds have won a playoff game, not that I won't be there cheering our every play, but it's just tough for us to compete with those Charlotte teams. Oh well, who knows, maybe the long 2 1/2 trip on the bus up the mountain will get to those city boys and will effect their shooting!

    Concord, Northwest Cabarrus advance

Concord pounded West Rowan in second half 82-57. And Northwest Cabarrus with 15-footer with 2 seconds left eliminates defending 3-A champ Trinity 50-49.

I'd be crying like that as well if my team got spanked 96-71.

Well evidently you are still crying about EB beating Reynolds 3 times. Oh that's right, EB wouldn't have won if not for the refs they hand picked. :shakehead

Reynolds?? How did we get brought into this conversation?
West Charlotte handed it to us tonight 95-70, so it looks like we are all in the same boat here!

When I replyed to jge, his profile says Asheville, so I assumed he was from reynolds. It wasn't directed at you or reynolds. Just this person. I truly hate to hear someone whine about the refs in the boys game after the same refs call the girls game and the whiners team wins. Of course they don't complain about the refs then. Ok, I'm through venting for tonight. Sorry to hear about
reynolds losing tonight, those Charlotte teams are hard to beat. In EB's game Ishmael Smith had 32 points for CC and I don't think 1 ball hit the rim. All swishes. He was fun to watch. Good luck tonight in the girls game. We are pulling for ya'll.

No offense taken, however I do know there is a Freedom grad that lives here in Asheville that post on here (not that jge is this person) I am just saying I wouldn't assume that all people from Asheville are from Reynolds. Anyway, West Charlotte last night was just more talented than us. We actually played one of our better games, we rebounded fairly well considering they were MUCH taller, and we shot rather well, and didn't turn it over all that often. I was pleased with our performance. They just had too much talent. Hopefully, between McDowell and ACR girls tonight the NW4A can get a couple of wins on the board. Its been ugly so far!
