Yes, State's starting pitching has been very good and the bullpen has only gotten much better late this season. Can make lots of lefty/righty switches with effectiveness. Lost our closer to "privacy issues", but others stepped up more than adequately vs. your SEC neighbor the 'Cocks. I still can't believe we held that lineup to only 3 hits in the finale. And good defense has always been an Avent trademark.

Our hitting has been timely but not overpowering; more the small ball game. Late we have developed offensive depth; Avent likes to shake up the order of the lineup often and subs a lot.

The Wolfpack is hungry; this has not been a good overall sports year for the Pack in any sports. Would be great for us to go out with a bang in baseball.
