The 2004 US Olympic Softball team has included Charlotte, NC in its tour of the US prior to the Summer Games in Athens, Greece.

The Renassiance Complex will host the team on June 16, 2004 as part of the 22 city tour to get the team ready and to allow Americans the chance to see the team play before departing oversea. Aiming for Athens tour begins May 17 in San Antinio, TX and concludes in Stratford, CT on July 17.

Times and opponents are still undetermined but as soon as they are posted, we'll post it!

Seeing the nations best softball players...................JUNE 16, 2004

There is a lot of value to watching some of the best in the nation to see where you stand...but it would be evem more fun if you could play against them :D

In the past, if my memory is correct, they have used local college players and or explayers to make-up an All-Star team, but with WPSL , prolly have them as their opponents. Maybe some of our local players will get an opportunity after all to play against an
