    Asheville vs Franklin
No one wanted to win this game. Numerous (too many to count) errors by both teams. 11 runs scored with Franklin having 2 earned runs and Ashevile 3. Pretty good pitching on a very cold (37 degrees) game under the lights. Home runs by Carl Smith Hunnicutt and Scott Grether of Asheville. Glad this one is over. Oh boy, TC Roberson today at 4:00pm.

    West Stanly, 12, Piedmont, 2, (5 innings)

Piedmont was searching for their 3rd starter and are still searching. West Stanly can flat hit the ball. They hit three homeruns including a walk-off in the 5th.

One bright spot was Justin Perry batting lead-off for Piedmont. He was 1-2 (2B) with a walk. Justin's OB% for the year is over .700 and is playing a very good 2nd base. His senior leadership is also important on this junior dominated squad.

Charlotte Christian @ Piedmont today at 4:30

Asheville vs TC today could be a gem, depending on who Ashevile has on the hill. They have 2 senior pitchers that are good and can keep them in the game against anyone.

The Rockets finally started swinging the bats got a full game defensively with the pitching staff scoring 10 runs on 10 hit and allowing 1 run on 4 hits. Daniel Walker (1-1, 4 IP) combined with Blake Bowes (SV - 1st, 3 IP) combining on a 4 hitter.
