2004 Regular Season Results

    A little sidebar on the evening: Josh Frazier, Ashbrook FR, also threw a NO-NO in the JV game! 8K's.

    The coaches aren't certain, but they believe it's the first time in school history that the JV and varsity pitchers have thrown back to back no hitters on the same night at the same ballpark!

    West Henderson 8, Madison 5

    Spencer Linn, 2-0, gets the win with 3 1/3 scoreless innings in relief. Roberts took the loss for Madison. Luke lovelace was 3/3 with a HR(2), TW Moore, Linn, and Jason Merrill all had 2 hits with Moore getting a HR. WH is now 4-0, 2-0 in conference.

    FYI, the West JV's moved to 4-0 and have now outscored opponents 37-1 through 4 games.

    Southpawdad, We had the same thing happen Tues. night ACHS vs. Mcdowell. Dustin Harrington threw a no-hitter in the JV game (17 K's) and Matt Payne threw a no hitter in the varsity game (12 K's). :xyzthumbs

    This game by far was the biggest win in JM Robinsons short history...yet all the independent tribune had on it was the score, and a few words from the coach. The front page was all about AL Brown and their 1st win. It irritates me a little bit...

    This was a huge win. I'm sure it will wake up the Falcons, too. I'd hate to play them next. Congratulations to the players at Robinson...great effort
