Their pitcher (wish I knew his name) was very competitive and the fielders made plays.

    Garinger LP: Chris Rappe

Hey Coach, the pitcher's name is Gary Hill and he is now co-owner and pitching instructor at On Deck. All the pitchers over there love him. He relates well with the kids and is able to get them to understand what he is trying to teach.

Oh....and not to take away from the current coaches at Garinger, but if they decide to go elsewhere, this would be a perfect opportunity for you :D...and certainly the most rewarding one.

Great game!!!! Not greatly played with too many costly errors on both sides but a very exciting game. The lead changed hands at least 4 times and no one was ever ahead by more than 2 runs. Not to mention this is a huge rivalry game.

Morgan Tyson pitched a complete game, giving up 5 ER and 7 hits while striking out 7 including the final two. Morgan also had a big 2B in the 7th to plate the go ahead run.

Dallas Tarelton had a HR and Jeff Logan was 3-3 with two 2B's and knocked in 4 runs.

    WEDDINGTON--4
    CONCORD--3

    WP--SAIN
    LP--WARD?

Concord had a 3-0 lead going into the 7th, but Weddington somehow found a way. Concord had one out and with runners on 1st and 2nd for Weddington there was a hard ground ball hit right to the SS that should have ended the game. The ball went right over his glove and Weddington went on to win the game

Thanks Braves for your comments about Morgan, I will pass them on! Glad to hear Braves jr. is doing well also!

Stump, that was a wild game. Played at a very high intensity level. Both teams have a lot of talent on them! Fun to watch but the world's supply of sunflower seeds is going to take a real hit if these games keep staying close! LOL!
