    That's a solid win for the Titans. Central Cabarrus has a good defense and those boys can always hit the ball. I like the look of this Titan team. They will play well this year.

    Vance:

    Vance lost one of the best players in the conference after last season when Kyle Breece graduated. They don't have that key player right now that can put a team on his back and carry them, but they do have a solid group of fundamentally sound players. Don't let Vance's record fool you. They have played some tight games. I was impressed with the sound approach at the plate for the hitters. They are going to put some runs on the board.

    They are using a mix of young pitchers right now and those guys are getting a baptism of fire, but there is potential there. As they develop, these guys could make a charge for playoff contention by the end of the season.

    Bring your "A" game when you play them.
