That must have been interesting.....I saw Buchanan & Martin this fall with their On Deck team, these two have identical styles & mechanics; they mirror each other. Other the throwing with opposite hands, these two could be the same person.

Madison defeated Pisgah (don't have the score)

both upsets in the WHC. But this may be the year for those in this conference.

    Erwin 2, Franklin 1
Erwin is now 7-1 and 4-1 in the MAC. New coach for Erwin this year, Fore Rembert that tood Maiden to the 1A title in 1999. Been at UNCA. A great start for Erwin.

    Cary 2

Thanks to a business trip to Raleigh I was able to watch this game along with our friend Andy Partin. Musselman started the game for Hoggard and pitched 4-5 innings. The "gun" was reading 83-85 from the windup and 81-83 from the stretch. Cary was a little off with the bats, but finally got some quality ABs. Hoggard hit the ball hard all evening.

Cary was holding back their ace for an upcoming conference game on Friday against Green Hope. Green Hope's coach was there to scout Cary.

Chad Holbrook was there to watch Musselman and a representative from East Coast Pro.

Andy promised to hit the Charlotte area in April for some games. My bet is he waits until all of the Easter tournaments are going on so he can catch some of the best matchups!
