    Pitcher's Duel!!

    Kannapolis 2
    Statesville 0

What a great pitcher's duel this was!!! Andrew Mead gets the shutout for K-town, giving up 1 hit (his second straight 1-hit shutout), while Tim Johnson matched him pitch for pitch until the Wonders pushed a run across in the 4th and the 7th. I know Johnson has already signed at either App or UNC-A (I forget which), but someone is going to get a GEM of a pitcher in Mead whenever they decide to sign him already! Garrett Sherrill and Eddie Boger had the RBI's for K-town.
