    East Meck-7
    Olympic-1

Blake Gehringer hit 2 homeruns and drove in 5 runs. :applause: East jumped on them early and Olympic never really responded. East is now 3-1 in the SW4A while Olympic drops to 1-3 i believe.

Zack Farry did a great job of shutting down the bats. Independence looked very good in this game.

    Concord 5 Piedmont 3

Piedmont got out played. Concord pitcher (??sorry) had them off stride all afternoon. TOO MANY LONG FLY OUTS.

Morgan Tyson took the loss. He did not have his best stuff. He really struggled to find the plate. He walked 5 or six in 3 plus innings. Danny Hermann did come in and throw 3 shut out innings (1hit) in relief.

Piedmont got 8 hits but Tim King was the only one to get more than one. (2-3)

This is Piedmont's first loss in the conference. They are behind (5-1) to Robinson in game that must be completed in the future.

Piedmont has a huge game with Weddington on Tuesday at home.
