Ryan threw an excellent game and deserved the NO-NO. ERA is down to 0.24! Job Bash!

    Independence 10, Vance 0

Zach Farry (4-1) threw a no hitter in a five inning game against Vance. The final score was 10-0. Independence had hits throughout their lineup. Derek Worley took the loss for Vance.

Independence improves to 12-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play.

North Meck 4, Central Cabarrus 3

Zack Rosenbaum (5-0) picked up the win against a tough Central Cabarrus team. Central led early, but a 4 run rally in the 6th by North put them ahead to stay. Sam Pierce picked up the save.

Ashbrook defeated Hunter Huss in 5 innings. McCall got the win going three and Josh Duncan came in to clean up the last two innings. Duncan was a little rusty from not pitching for about a month (arm injury),but settled in and finished well. Limestone College coach was there to see Duncan pitch.

Soph. Devin Harris led the Ashbrook assault with a single, double and grand slam.

    Tue 4/6:

    South Rowan: 6
    R.J. Reynolds: 2

This was the continuation of the 3/15 game that was postponed because of darkness. Only the 7th inning was played and neither team scored.

    LP - Hampton Foushee (3-1)

    Reynold's Season Record: (8-1)
    Reynold's Conference Record: (3-1)

    *************************************************************

    R.J. Reynolds: 13 (Stopped after 5 innings)
    South Rowan: 0

    WP - Hampton Foushee (4-1) 4IP, 0R, 1H, 3K, 1BB
    Torrey Johnson - 1IP, 0R, 0H, 2K, 0BB

The Demons scored 10 runs in the first inning to beat South Rowan for the first time in the last 5 meetings. Too bad they didn't score 5 of them in the continuation game!

    Reynold's Season Record: (9-1)
    Reynold's Conference Record: (4-1)

What the heck... What about those Detroit Tigers!!! Winning their first two games of the season for the first time in 18 years. (As the only Tiger fan in North Carolina I've got to celebrate when I get the chance... Not very often in the last 8 years.)
