    Pinecrest beat 71st tuesday night 6-0. The win now increases Pinecrests record to 9-4 overall, 4-2 Conf.

    ROBINSON HAS NOW WON THEIR LAST 6 OUT OF 7 WITH WINS OVER BOTH WEDDINGTON AND WEST ROWAN.
    THEY WILL PLAY PEIDMONT IN THE INTIMIDATORS TOURNY NEXT WED. AT 7PM. THE GAME WILL BE COUNTED AS A CONFERENCE GAME.

    They are interesting and whether misleading or correct or not, JUST a "guess" from an educated follower of the game, NO? Bottom line AGAIn and I repeat again is WINNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, too sad in retrospect tho! :nono: After many years I have learned that they both are basically worthless! They make for fun gossip and specualatio and bragging rights BUT talk is "CHEAP" IN SPORTS! Who is still standing at the proverbial END?!     From Tuesday night. This puts Ragsdale at 10-2 ( 8 wins in a row) and 6-1 in the conference. Next up is SE Guilford who upset the Tigers at home - that was the last game Ragsdale lost.

    Tourney MVP (with two GW RBI's) Matt Sanders snapped a 1-1 tie in the 6th with a solo HR. Warren would drive in a run with a ground rule 2B. Leaves NewBern at 11-4 and Havelock at 11-3. (from the New Bern Sun Journal)
