    South Meck clinched the SW4A regular season title with a 9-1 victory over East Meck. The improved to 12-0 in conference play, 21-1 overall.

    East Meck still sits in 4th place in the conference with a 7-5, 13-8 overall record.

    Myers Park and Providence are tied for 2nd in the conference with identical 8-3 records. Myers Park is 9-8 overall while Providence is 12-6.

    Jeremy Stahle (SR) - first start of the season, strikes out 9. Jeremy's family move to NC from Tennessee. Unfortunately, Jeremy has not had the opportunities to pitch like he needed. Great job, Jeremy.

    Blalock hits his 9th homerun.

    Against East Meck and Myers Park, Providence banged out 17 hits, but only manufactured 4 runs total. That's baseball. Just not getting the key hits with runners on.

    They struggled a bit more against North Meck last night, getting only 2 hits, but they still look dangerous. Great team speed.
