TC now 22-0, WH now 17-5.

    West Henderson 5, Brevard 2
Spencer Linn went all 7 to move to 10-1 on the year.
    WH is now 18-5, 13-2.

The win guarantees WH the #2 seed out of the WHC. North Henderson is in 1st place with 1 conference loss. The 2 teams meet at WH on Thursday. A NH win gives them the conference championship outright. A WH win would set up a 1 game playoff on Friday to settle the conference championship and to determine the #1 and #2 seeds.

    TC Roberson vs Franklin

    TC Roberson 12, Franklin 0

Roberson finishes the season at 23-0, 16-0. The Rams averaged over 12 runs a game and outscored their opponents 284 to 47. The team batting average of .386, while not official, should be a new state record.

I think Enka was successful this year. I am not sure, but believe they finished tied with Asheville for 5th place, but this doesn't tell the story. The kids had a great time, were always competitive with every team they played. The new coach had them excited and from what I know of the parents, they were satisified with the new coach. Enka started out the season very strong and just had some misques at the end of the season. Enka has a very young team and will be a force to contend with next year.

What happened at Enka was unfortunate, but it looked to me like the team and the school has moved on. :applause:
