    Signees

Britt Cantrell of Mount Pleasant HS verbally committed to UNCC, I agree with U let's reconize the 2006 kids soon! There are some very good ball players in that age group.

Allie Mashburn has made official visits to Lees McRae and Belmont Abbey

Britt Yorke has made an official visit to Lees McRae and is scheduling visit to Queens.

Tori has made an unofficial visit to Belmont Abbey and has a visit planned to Presbyterian and an official visit to the Abbey. UNC-W is in the mix after the official visit and we expect to hear from them soon.

I will update the other ladies as I get information. Devon Williams has made her visits to Va Tech and Maryland and is making her decision within the next few days possibly.

Our team has had the recent privledge of competing against these young ladies and we know first hand of the talent they have. We wish them all the best in their college careers. I wouldn't be surprised if several from our team end up being teammates with these talented players in the near future. Congratulations! :applause: :xyzthumbs

Thanks for the compliments. CF you're right, it is always fun watching these young ladies compete at the next level and I know you have helped many make it there.

Yes, we were able to get first place in Lexington, SC. The SC Bandits always hold great tournaments and we enjoyed the tough competition.

    WCU signees

We are thrilled not only for Samm Keppel and Sam Stepp, but three other NSR enrollees have committed to WCU: Beth Hauser from North Surry, Ashley Adams (Walters State/South Caldwell) and Chelsea Akers (McMichael).

So far during the NCAA Early Signing period, NSR enrolled softball players have signed with Western Carolina, Appalachian State, Lenoir Rhyne, Pfeiffer, Methodist, Lees-McRae and Charleston Southern and we expect others to follow in the days to come. All 24 of our senior players are well on their way to accepting scholarship offers this year.

Please understand, these kids got and earned the scholarships on their own abilities, athletic and academic. At NSR, we are not attempting by any means to take all or the yeoman's share of credit for these kids signing. We are a conduit to help in most situations through professionally conducted promotions and communications. We work as part of the team effort that goes into getting these kids opportunities. In fact, much of the credit goes to the high school and travel team coaches who selflessly taught these kids the skills they needed to succeed. Moreover, they worked diligently to put these kids into tournaments that allowed college coaches to see them play at the top of their game. That's not to mention all the team Moms and Dads who have sacrificed time and money to get kids into uniforms, practices and games.

We honor and pay tribute to everyone who has had a hand in helping each prospect. But, we love these kids and work hard to do our part, so please allow us the privilege of being proud, too. Congratulations all.
