Great to see Ashley Adams (South Caldwell) going to WC. Will be a huge bat for them.

I was at the tv signing yesterday (Sam Stepp and Sam Keppel) and I couldn't have been more proud. I got to enjoy this last year with my own DD and now two more of my players who I was glad to have spent what time I did with them. It sure has gone by quickly. They deserve all the credit as they have worked very hard to get to this point. Not only are they good athletes but they come from great families who can take a lot of credit for supporting them through the ups and downs. They did a great job :applause: These two young ladies deserve the title of "Student Athlete" :xyzthumbs

    2005 Signings

    Update on Lady Blues signings:

Amber Kiser signed her letter of intent to Furman this past weekend

Britt Cantrell signed her letter of intent to UNCC last Thursday

Tori Safrit signs her letter of intent to UNC-W today

Allie Mashburn is talking to Lees McRae and Belmont Abbey

Britt Yorke just finished her official visit to Queens and is also talking to Lees McRae

Jordan Stogner has signed with WCU and was up there this past weekend.

Devon Williams turned down UNCC but has several other options which I will report as they develop.

Megan Burleson has decided to concentrate on her studies and not play college softball. We will miss Megan as she has been a big part of the Blues for several years.

Congrads to the girls from out West! Great job! Sam played for the Blues in a couple tourneys, good player. :laugh1: :applause:

We had two 18U teams this past summer. Jordan, B. Yorke, Allie M., and Kari played on that team. B. Yorke and Allie M played with my team this fall. U are right we had some 2005 talent! We have seven underclassman (2006-2007 kids) for summer. Also have a 16U team for the first time in two years. Good luck to U, hope to see U at Belmont Abbey some this spring. RET
