Ugly stat line for a pretty good performance from Britt. Good command and great movement (all around that little round plate :thud: ). The bats are looking sharp ladies!

    Forbush 1, Ashe County 0. 9 innings

Great game. Lauren Harris pitched well. No-hitter and allowed only 2 base runners the entire night. Forbush was able to muster 6 hits in 9 innings. The run scored on a lead-off triple by Caroline Wood that was followed by a double from Jamie Sloan.

    Forbush 10-0, Ashe County 9-3

    Allen K'S 20

Gina Allen pitched a masterful game in striking out 20 against previously undefeated Hopewell. Double digits K's are great against medicore teams, but against a 12-0 4A class softball team is one for the books. The total is second behing Erica Ennis' 21 K's Allen stands at 20 with several others at 19.

As I stated earlier in the season (on another thread) that Janna Lewis would be a freshman to watch this year. I've watched Janna play mostly as a catcher, but she is doing a good job at SS for Hopewell. She is improving at every game I see her play.
