Mendy MacKenzie is the real deal.KILLER rise, had 14 ko's,but after 4th inn,she walked a couple, & gave up a few hits.East had a couple of opportunities, but couldn't capitalize.Overall great game ,went by too fast.
Holly Brown had 2 good hits for East,& WF's run was unearned.

Saw the last 3 innings...McKenzie didn't have her best game, she is just getting over a bout of food poisoning from the weekend. However that should not take away how well ER played. They did have a couple of opportunities but just couldn't get the hit when needed. I believe WF had scored something like 60 runs in their last 3 games (with 7 HR's) but ER's pitching was able to hold WF big hitters in check.

Sun Valley lost to a very strong Weddington team. Alot of credit goes out to both teams....Sun Valley needs to keep their heads held high.....
