    Brittni York of Sun Valley HS and the Lady Blues just signed with St Andrews to play in the fall of 2005. She will play several positions and maybe pitch some. Britt has great speed, slaps well, and has a great arm, she will do a great job for St Andrews. As previously reported, other Blues signed:

    Tori Safrit: Robinson HS signed UNC-W
    Devon Williams: West Rowan signed Maryland
    Amber Kiser: North Meck signed Furman
    Britt Cantrell: Mt PLeasant signed UNC-Charlotte
    Jordan Stogner: Central Davidson signed WCU
    Allie Mashburn Providence HS guaranteed walk-on UNC-W
    Danielle Relyea S. Meck and NY signed Belmont Abbey
    Brittney Hayes Ledford HS guaranteed walk-on at UNC-W

    IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED FRIDAY 5/20 AT SENIOR AWARDS DAY AT MT.TABOR THAT STEPHANIE CARTWRIGHT HAS BEEN AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP TO ATTEND EMORY& HENORY COLLEGE IN VA. WHERE SHE WILL PLAY SOFTBALL FOR COACH SHANNON FARLEY. STEPHANIE IS A 2YR. ALL METRO 4A ALL CONF. RECIPIENT AND A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY. SHE PLAYED HER TRAVEL BALL FOR THE CAROLINA STARS AND COACH BEN MCKINNEY.

    Great job helping these young ladies! Fred is a great guy and coach and I am sure Katie will enjoy playing for him.
