    Looks like it as they were a #1 team and they play winner of two #2 teams.

    East Rutherford-6

    Owen-5

    This game was also a nail biter!! Owen was up 2-0, then East answered with 2 runs. Owen had bases loaded, and batter hit a triple to bring in 3 runs, with the score now at 5-2. East again answers with 2 runs, making the score 5-4,Owen. In the bottom of the 7th with one out, one run behind, East gets timely hit by S. Rich, Davis gets hit by pitch, and Burns, with two strikes, gets BIG hit! Rich scores to tie game, the ball is thrown to 2nd, trying to tag Burns, and Davis slides home, safe, to end the game. Lady Cavs will host winner of Forbush/Pisgah game, Friday@ 5:00.

    I disagree. I think NL will hand them their biggest loss of the year!

    it was an exciting game for sure and watched some Seniors step up again!! Owen played well enough to win but things happen for a reason....its their(ER) first 3d round appearance and this bunch has played together since birth...... Good Luck FAB5ER!!!!!

    Biggest Loss Yet

    I beg to differ there Comet Fan. Walls is pitching great here recently and NL can't handle her when she is throwing like she is right now. Besides, Cherryville might throw Self again and NL couldn't do anything with her last game!! I think the word for the day that game was mistakes by Cherryville.....not NL hitting. :ylsuper:

    time and location? friday at ERHS, 5pm in 2A. thursday at KMHS vs RS Central, 7pm and if only 1A would do a Saturday game!!
