    On Feb. 18, 2006 Freedom HS will sponsor a HS tournament at Reep Park in Morganton; Games begin at 9:45 and the last games will start at 4:15.

    9:45am

    Mc Dowell #1 vs Hibriten : white field
    Fred T Foard vs Watauga #1 : blue field
    Bandy's vs Crest: red field

    10:50am

    Butler#2 vs Hibriten: white field
    Hopewell vs Watauga: #1 blue field

    Where is Reep Park. Live there for many years & my parents still do. I am up there a lot.

    Exist off I-40 on exist 118, if U are coming from Charlotte turn left and cross the bridge, turn left on Johnson Bridge Rd and the park will be on the left. I am posting this info for the Freedom Coach, I know nothing about the area.

    You are correct, from Hickory area take exit 118, go to the end of the ramp and turn left.(from Morganton turn right at end of ramp) follow this road till you see Johnson Bridge road- turn left here the park will be a short ways on your left. You can't see the fields from the road very wooded. Great new park setting, walking trails, playground equipment. No pressbox yet but they are working on it. Freedom will have concessions a the games. Bring a chair and watch some good early action!

    10:50am Butler vs Freedom (rematch of last years 1st round) I'm sure Coach Fox wanted another shot at a great Butler team.

    2:05pm Butler vs Hopewell( 1 week into the season and we get this.)

    That is a long way from Morganton. Is this not between Valdese & hickory.

    Yes, it's after Valdese and before Hickory. Not really that far from Morganton.
    Next years event will hopefully be held at the new Catawba Meadows Park if the softball side is completed in time.

    Bring a chair and come see how everyone looks after 1 week of practice...

    I just thought that it may be at the high school & Sheuy field. My parents only live a few miles from the high school. I would like to be there but I think we are having a workday at our field. Good luck to everyone!!!!

    What effect will Basketball have on the Teams I know Butler will be missing some key players as well as other teams.Conf. tournament that week and state playoffs the next.
